Islamic Failure Series – Episode 1 – Al Aqsa mosque

Hello folks, and welcome to the Another Islamic and Quranic failure series I am going to start.

Al Aqsa mosque is mentioned in the Quran, in Surah called Al Isra’ which is Surah number 17, in verse 1 where is says:

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَىٰ بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلًا مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى الَّذِي بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُ لِنُرِيَهُ مِنْ آيَاتِنَا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ

Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al- Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing

So basically, it says that Allah took Muhammad from Mecca to Al Aqsa on a night journey to show Muhammad the miracles and powers of Allah. What most probably you don’t know about, is that Archangel Gabriel washed Muhammad’s heart while he was sleeping to purify it and prepare him to meet Allah and other prophets! I don’t want to argue about this nonsense, I will leave it for you to comment on as an extra exercise, I just wanted to say that Muhammad had a heart surgery and on the same night he was taken for a journey, and nobody even noticed this? :)

What you also might not know is that Muslim scholars believe that Muhammad was taken to Al Aqsa on a Buraq (a winged donkey), all of this, in one night, without any single witness. I will also leave this nonsense for you to comment about, but I can’t resist not saying that this flying donkey must have had a jet engine it its bottom to travel that fast and that far!

So, Allah did a miracle and took Muhammad to visit Al Aqsa mosque right? First of all, Muslims believe that Al Aqsa mosque is in Jerusalem. The literal translation of Al Aqsa is the farthest one, hence al masjij al Aqsa means the farthest mosque. So this mosque was known to be the farthest known mosque when Muhammad was still preaching his nonsense. So far so good just saying, as Quran has already failed with all of this nonsense, but please allow me to show you the real failure

From this nonsense verses, come many questions:

  1. First: How do you know that Al Aqsa mosque is in Jerusalem, or Al Quds as known in Arabic, if Jerusalem was never ever mentioned in Quran, not even once, neither by Jerusalem nor my Al Quds?
  2. Second: The mosque was originally a small prayer house built by the Rashidun caliph Umar, but was rebuilt and expanded by the Umayyad caliph Abd al-Malik and finished by his son al-Walid in 705 CE Reference: That is to say: This mosque was built AFTER Muhammad died, when the successor (Caliph) called Omar Bin Al Khattab built it?

Clearly Allah and Quran are both a total failure, if Allah took Muhammad to a place that wasn’t even built yet!

About Mike

Hello, I am an atheist because of reason and personal experience. I am a father of THREE lovely living kids and two dead embryos, married to a lovely Christian Catholic devoted woman. Yes, black and white can coexist as long as there is respect and love, which is something abstracted from any belief or religion. I do not claim absolute truth and not 100% sure that a God does not exist somewhere out there. The scientific method is what I use to connect to reality. If there is something I don't understand, then it is because i don't understand, not because god exists. In case you haven't noticed, I am a native Arab, and English is my third language (yes there is second language). I like reading the Bible and the Quran and the critics of both of them. I also love watching documentaries especially astronomy, cosmology, Quantum Physics, and new discoveries in science in general, and Physics in particular.

  1. Cool story bro, but honestly who are you to pick holes in a faith that your not even part off? A little intolerant to faith or just islamophobic? hmmmm i’ll let you comment on that x

    • Mike says:

And why do you assume I don’t know anything about it? Do I need to read the whole Harry Potter books to be able to judge it is fiction? Doesn’t it require a rational person to judge upon it from the first chapters?

I was born in a Muslim context, with Muslim family, friends, books, and my mother tongue language is Arabic and I have read Quran three times and the Hadith, not to mention the Bible as well.

I am intolerant to bullshit and insults to human intelligence (aka religion). Got any problem with that?

    • oumaima says:

      Al Aksa Mosque
Anyone that reads Mike ‘s senseless comment on Al Aksa Mosque and the Prophet’s Night Journey , one would fancy the prophet Mohamed ( May Allah ‘ s peace and blessings be upon him) in a surgery room with the angel Gabrael with surgical procedure attire , the surgeon and his team an anesthesiologist, an anesthesiologist ’ s assistant , a scrub technician , a scrub nurse, and a circulator and also a nurse who acts as more of an overseer . A purely materialistic view since Mike does not believe in religion and in devine services . He is free ; nobody obliges him to believe . The problem does not stop here . What is intolerable is how does he dare to lie so as to mislead people who do not know anything about Islam ? In fact , this is by no means a new phenomenon . For centuries , rancourous Jews and Christians have done their best and employed all their energies to mistranslate the Holy Quran and to spread misstatements about the prophet Mohamed so as to avert people from the way to Allah , seeking to make it deviant . They all passed away ( meeting the retribution they deserve .) I advise Mike to seek away to remain immortal so that he could escape from eternal punishment in Hellfire .
This is what awaits him and his assistants : « « So remind, if the reminder should benefit; He who fears [ Allah ] will be reminded. But the wretched one will avoid it – [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, Neither dying therein nor living.» Quran , sura : El A-ala , verses from 10 to 13. As a matter of fact , there is only one death , the one that takes us from this wordly life the Hereater , the Eternal Life , you are not obliged to believe , but surely , you will see that . Just wait . How long will you live ??????
Back to the misstatements they employed about the prophet Mohamed which are too numerous to be counted , let me cite only two . In Egypt , a primary school christian teacher , taking advantage of the morning break , when all the pupils were in the school courtyard , she took a pupil ‘s school bag from the drawer and hid it somewhere outside the classroom . In the classroom , after the 10 minutes break , a pupil was heard moaning and complaining . « What ‘s the matter ? » The teacher asked . « My bag . It is not here », the pupil answered . The teacher pretended looking for it in every corner in the classroom . Then , she left the classroom . A few minutes later , she came back holding the school bag high in her hand . « Here is your bag . Mohamed stole it but Jesus got it back to you . Say : Thank you Jesus », she said to the innocent pupil.
A woman convert online said , ‘’ A church , we were often told that That Mohamed was a wicked person . he used to choose the army leaders whose wives were beautiful and send them to die in difficult missions so that he could to marry their wives .
Now , let us refute Mike outright lies with historical evidence .
El Burak is not a winged donkey . Al Buraq, literally , means lightning , the allusion to its speed . This is what the prophet Mohamed said about the burak : ‘’ I was brought the Buraq, a long white beast, slightly bigger than a donkey but smaller than a mule which when trotting (ride), would place its next step as far as its eyesight could see. I mounted it until I reached al- Quds, Jerusalem. There I tied it up to the same ring used by the Prophets. ( Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim ) . That means that the buraq is neither a donkey nor a mule since it is a creature from paradise , and the the creatures of paradise are totally different from the ones we see in our wordly life . Consider this Hadith : the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Allaah says: ‘I have prepared for My righteous servants that which no eye has seen, no ear has heard of and it has never crossed the mind of man.
From the earlier hadith , we can deduce that the buraq was the means of transportation of the other prophets before him. Also , since El Buraq means ‘’ lightning’’, it does not need a jet engine at its bottom .
Now , here are the answers of mike ‘ s silly questions set by someone who ignores other people ‘s history . The first answers can be deduced from the quran which he claimed to have read three times and from the acknowledged history of the area . Allah says in the Sura of Quoraysh : ‘’For the accustomed security of the Quraysh , Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer – Let them worship the Lord of this House, Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe , [saving them] from fear .( Quran :106) . Historians said , ‘’ In pre –Islam period , the Arabs ‘ caravans traveled in summer to Syria and in winter to Yemen. In its early history , Syria included modern-day Syria , Lebanon ,and Palestine . How could Arab traders travel to palestine ( in historical Syria ) every summer and ignore Jerusalem, El qods ?
The answer of his second question. The Aksa Mosque was not built by the second Khalifa Omar Ibn El Khattab . The following data stand in total contradiction with Mike ‘s ideas on El Aksa Mosque .
Abu Dharr reported that he asked the Prophet, “O Messenger of Allah, which mosque was built first on earth”? The Prophet (saw) replied, “The Sacred mosque of Makkah”. Abu Dharr again asked, “Which was next”? The Prophet said, ” Al-Aqsa Mosque”. Abu Dharr further asked, “How long was the period between the building of the two Mosques “? The Prophet said, “Forty years”
Now , let us have an idea about the history of El Aksa Mosque .
« when Muslims conquered the city of Jerusalem in 637 during the caliphate of ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab, they sought to resurrect Jerusalem as a place of worship. The ancient temple of Jerusalem had been rebuilt numerous times, most recently by Herod around 20 BCE. By 70 CE, however, the Romans destroyed the temple after a Jewish revolt in Palestine. Jews were forbidden from entering the city and Judaism all but died in Jerusalem.
The area where the temple stood remained as a wasteland for the next few hundred years. The Romans used the area as a garbage dump, so when ‘Umar entered the city and went to see where his religious forefathers such as Dawud and Sulayman had worshiped (which was also the place where Muhammed had worshiped during the Isra’ wal-Mi’raj) he found a the area filthy and unusable as a mosque. Nevertheless, he decided to clean the area and built the al-Aqsa Mosque. As was his custom, he worked alongside average Muslims in cleaning and purifying the area. They erected a basic mosque that could fit about 3000 people at the southern end of the Temple Mount, now known by the Muslims as the Haram al-Sharif, the Noble Sanctuary. A contemporary Christian pilgrim described the mosque as a large wooden structure built upon earlier ruins. »
So Al Aksa Mosaue was no more than the ancient temple of jerusalem which was known as « The Temple Mount » , in Hebrew , « Har Habayit » and in Arabic « El Haram Eshareef » . ), the Noble Sanctuary, is one of the most important religious sites in the Old City of Jerusalem. It has been used as a religious site for thousands of years. At least four religious traditions are known to have made use of the Temple Mount: Judaism, Christianity, Roman religion, and Islam.
Here is another evidence . When Prophet Muhammed received the command from God to lead the Muslim community in five daily prayers, their prayers were not directed towards the Quaaba , in Mecca but they were directed towards the Al AKsa Mosque in the holy city of Jerusalem , El Qods . The Muslims received the command from God to lead the five daily prayers on the 7th of the month of Rajab , one year before the prophet immigrated to Medina . How could Muslims be directed in their prayers towards a mosque which , according to Mike , was not built yet.
There are people whose eyes can probably deny sun-light due to sickness of their eyes — likewise their mouths can probably deny the taste of tasty food due to illness. I wish Mike would think it over and over . I met many atheists but passive ones . They are free not to believe but they do not insult other people ‘ s spiritual conviction and religion.

      • Mike says:

        Ha ha ha ha ha
All your attempts to justify bullshit is provided with even more bullshit! I know what Buraq is, but to make Hadith more credible I said a flying donkey! Thanks for proving your asinine beliefs! A flying creature between the donkey and the horse! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! That makes Islam even more stupid and people believing in it even dumber! As you can see, I also cited the Hadith in original Arabic and the translation. Creature from paradise… Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Why didn’t you quote the whole Hadith? Are you ashamed?

Yes honey, Al Buraq = البراق
        من برق

القدس كان اسمها ايليا أو أورشليم و ليس القدس
The term Al Quds wasn’t even invented back then, its name was Ilia or Jerusalem. Jerusalem was NEVER mentioned in Quran. Not even once! Why do you claim Jerusalem is Al Quds? Just because Islam is a totalitarian religion that cannot coexist with any other religion and it had to destroy the Judeo-Christian temples. Get over it! There is no mention of Jerusalem in Quran! That is a fact you can’t argue about.

There is no Allah, no God, no hellfire, no heaven. There are dumb stupid people who believe in asinine myths like you. Bad ideas must be ridiculed, and people inviting in delusion must be shown in public for their shitty ideas. God is an insult to human intelligence and must be eradicated from the mind of Humanity.

Why don’t you try to comment on the other Islamic Failure Series? Because they are ALL taken from your own books, with nothing added to them, to show the world how stipid a Muslim or any believer in this jackass called Allah can ever be.

If Allah doesn’t like what I write, if he at all exists, then tell him that I don’t care about any of his asinine revelations. Tell hims to fuck off and don’t stick his nose in human affairs, and stop being a cunt. Yep, Allah is a cunt.

  2. shajiraniya says:

-Most scholars are of the opinion that Masjid Al Aqsa was first built by Prophet Adam.
-Ibrahim (as) rebuilt the Masjid Al Aqsa in Jerusalem as he and Ismail rebuilt the Ka’ba in Makkah.
-Prophet Daud (as) began the rebuilding of Masjid Al Aqsa.
-It was Prophet Sulayman (as) who finally completed the building of Masjid Al Aqsa.
-Masjid Al Aqsa built by Sulayman (as) was destroyed in 587 BC by Nebuchadnezzar King of Babylon.
-The Jews call this same Masjid Al Aqsa built by Sulayman as their Temple.
-The Jews re-built their Temple on the same site in 167 BC but was destroyed in 70 CE and Jews were banished from Jerusalem.
-The site of Masjid Al Aqsa remained barren and was used as a rubbish tip for nearly 600 years until the Great Khalifah Umar bin Khattab liberated Jerusalem in 637/638 CE.
-The Khalifah Umar bin Khattab began the foundation of Masjid Al Aqsa and a timber mosque was built.
-The Umayyad Khalifah, Abd’ al Malik ibn Marwan in 691/692 CE [72/73 AH] began the construction of Dome of the Rock – today this is the Golden Domed building.
-The al Buraq wall or Western Wall where Prophet Muhammad tied his animal (the Buraq) on the night journey of al Isra is what the Jews call the wailing wall.
-To Muslims it is the whole compound of Bail al-Maqdis which is most holy and important.
-The sacred area of Bayt al-Maqdis (Al-Aqsa) has within it the Main Prayer Hall of Masjid Al Aqsa [Black Domed Building] and Dome of the Rock Building [the Golden Dome Building].
-Israel occupied Bayt al-Maqdis (Al-Aqsa) in 1967 CE.
-The Zionist Jews have made 100’s of attempts to destroy Al Aqsa since 1967 when they occupied it. A fire in 1967 started by their help and destroyed the 900 year old Mimbar installed by Salahudeen Ayyubi, the Great Muslim Hero.

    • Mike says:

Al Aqsa was built by prophet Adam?

      Ha ha ha ha ha.

      1. Adam is a myth, an asinine myth for ignorant humans who didn’t know how to explain the presence of man, thus they invented a shit called Adam and Eve

      2. Prophet Adam? If Adam was the first human as you claim, then what prophecy are you talking about? Think damn it think before you write

      • shajiraniya says:

If thats all a myth, where did YOU came from? I think you are not a myth. There were many prophets including Adam. And Mohammed is the last. HE WAS GIVEN THE QURAN. And its just enough for the mankind as a guidance and a great proof for the believers.

      • Mike says:

I came from my mom and dad. Adam is a prophet eh? Exactly prophesies to who?

      • shajiraniya says:

Don’t you even know Adam is a prophet? Prophesies were given to many. I’ll give you the list if you want. In Quran itself 25 of them are listed.

  3. oumaima says:

Dear shajiranya… If had read my reply above , you wouldn’t have continued arguing with this mulish , stubborn ignorant . What will he do with the list of the prophets from the Quran ? He does not believe in the quran . he redicules the Quran ,He named Allah with the worst of the names ,he rediculed his verses and his prophet . This man must have been raised in a dustbin . If you want to see his nasty thoughts , see his article ” Islamic failure series …episode 66 – Pedophilia, sex, and alcohol from the quran

  4. Bon Cabe says:

In the Qur’an Jerusalem is refers as Al Ardh Al Muqaddasah (the Holy Land)

    • Mike says:

No, Jerusalem or Al Quds is not mentioned at all, not even one time.

The Holy Land can be any land. How do you know it is Jerusalem?
